In the period from January to September of this year, 515,810 real estate purchase and sale transactions were registered in Spain, which is 9.55% more than in the same period last year, according to data from the Kingdom's Ministry of Housing.

The largest number of transactions was recorded in Andalusia (100,747 transactions), the Valencian Community (83,424) and Catalonia (77,650).

In the third quarter alone (from July to September), the number of transactions reached 165,608, which is 16.4% more than in the same period last year. This growth is explained by the increase in demand for real estate, which was a consequence of the easing of the Central Bank's monetary policy. Spain's growing attractiveness to foreign investors is also noted.

A decrease in sales was recorded only in two regions - Navarre (-5.31%) and the Balearic Islands (-0.93%). In the remaining provinces, there is a noticeable increase in the number of transactions. Particularly significant growth was noted in Ceuta and Melilla (+30.25%), La Rioja (+22.24%) and Asturias (+20.44%).
