New level of rail travel: Ouigo low-cost trains on the Malaga-Madrid routе

Since January 16, 2025, Ouigo's low-cost high-speed trains have been running on the Malaga-Madrid route. The first trip surprised passengers by arriving 15 minutes ahead of schedule. The first passengers included tourists, Madrid residents with roots in Malaga, and those who combine office work with remote work. Particular attention was drawn to Joan Hervás, a rail enthusiast who traveled from Valencia specifically to be one of the first to travel on the new train.

Passengers have noted significant savings: tickets cost between 9 and 32 euros, which is almost half the price of other operators. Thanks to affordable prices, students and travelers like Juan and Marcos can now visit their loved ones more often.
