Inflation in Spain last year was the lowest in three years

Spain ended 2024 with rising inflation. Consumer prices rose by 2.8% year-on-year in the last month of the outgoing year, exceeding expectations. This trend was mainly driven by rising fuel prices. Such data was published by the National Statistics Institute of Spain (INE).

But at the same time, at the end of the year, inflation in Spain was 2.8% - the lowest level in the last three years. Last year, inflation was 3.6%. And in 2022 - 8.4%.
