Important changes to the Spanish investor law: get your Golden Visa before April 3, 2025!
On January 3, 2025, Law 1/2025 of January 2 was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE). This law introduces significant changes to the legislation governing investor rights, in particular to Law 14/2013 on Support for Entrepreneurs and their Internationalization, regarding investors and their families.

What has changed?
1) Repeal of Articles 63 to 67 of Law 14/2013
These articles, which previously regulated the issuance of residence permits for investors (Golden Visa), are no longer in effect. The Golden Visa program will be definitively abolished.
2) New transitional provisions:

For applicants who submitted their documents before April 3, 2025:
Your applications will be processed according to the old rules.

For existing visas and permits:
They remain valid, and requests for extension will be considered in accordance with the previously applicable legislation.

- register it,
- and submit documents for an investor residence permit before April 3, 2025.
