Flamenco is the dance of passion
Spain never ceases to impress with its unique flavor, but flamenco is undoubtedly one of its brightest and most memorable dances.
Flamenco is an all-conquering magic of love, expressed in a sensual dance, accompanied by a rhythmic knocking of heels, a clapping of hands under the clicking of castanets. Men's party of the dance – dynamic movements, resembling waves of blades, embodying masculinity and strength. Though not less swift and impulsive women seem smoother, more graceful and sexy.
This dance is a costume performance where men and women are dressed in traditional costumes. Guys flaunt in black trousers with a wide belt and snow-white shirts with large sleeves. And slender Spanish ladies are irresistible in their long polka dot dresses, with lace on sleeves and flounces on a skirt.
Flamenco, which absorbed all the expressiveness and passion of the Spanish mentality, has long ceased to be just a folk dance. It is the art of filigree movements and extravaganza of unconcealed feelings between a man and a woman. This incendiary show had long outgrown its ethnic boundaries and had gained international fame and recognition.
